Using the information you learned from the video on warrants, the minilecture on warrant descriptions, and pages 6-14 in the Attorney General’s guide (“Requirements for All Warrants”), write descriptions of two houses and two vehicles from the photos below which would adequately describe these premises and vehicles for a search warrant. You may pick any two of these houses and any two vehicles. Then write a 5th description of one building and/or one vehicle you select from the “real world.” The addresses for the building and vehicle photos have been fictionalized. You may (for the purposes of this exercise ONLY), create owner/tenant names, VIN numbers for vehicles, license plate numbers and registration information. We are only trying to show (for INSTRUCTIONAL PURPOSES) that we know what kinds of information we need to include in our warrants. Obviously, in real life, you will NEVER use fictional information.
